Description
In contrast to the faster-paced, energetic Yang styles of yoga (e.g. Vinyasa & Ashtanga) that physically target the ‘superficial’ muscles, Yin yoga is a slower-paced, meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues of the body – the ligaments, joints, bones & deep fascia networks.
A Yin Yoga class usually consists of a series of passive floor poses that will be held between 3 and 5 minutes. We use a variety of props in the class like bolsters and blankets to ensure you can fully relax, release and let go.
