Description

Hatha (which translates as ‘Force’) is a general yoga class that typically involves physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama ) and relaxation (yoga nidra).

Hatha Yoga, which originates from India and dates back thousands of years, is about balancing the body and mind. ‘Ha’ represents the Sun and ‘Tha’ represents the moon. The practice of Hatha Yoga aims to unite these two energies.

At Yoga Bee, the Hatha Yoga classes are varied – no two weeks are the same. Some sessions may be quite energetic and others more gentle. Most classes will have a theme or focus, for example, a particular posture or phases of the moon.

The classes are suitable for most abilities. All classes can be adapted to the students’ requirements with modifications, alternatives & props always being offered.
